Contact your local favourite dive centre (in advance) to reserve any and all of your scuba gear rentals (tanks, weights, bcd, regs, etc) as you must bring it all to the Kinsmen. No gear available at pool to beg or borrow. Change rooms available at Kinsmen but no lockers at this time.

  • UNLOADING/LOADING: Keep physically distance.  Note: usually enter thru side-door (West-side, Door #10) of Kinsmen Aquatic Sport Centre, this door is right next to the dive tank - so easy access (especially compared to other pools). Drop off your gear outside & then must move vehicle immediately. Knock & someone will open door.  Please try to remove & keep wet & dirty footwear to a minimum.

Note: Must be certified diver! Scuba Instructors are not available during pool rental times at Kinsmen. Helpful hints from other friendly divers present is the most you can expect.  If it's been awhile ... take a full scuba refresher from your favourite local instructor or dive centre - your life is worth it!!

SOCIALIZE AFTERWARDS: In Edmonton & area?  Want to meet local scuba divers?? Often the participants of the Kinsmen dive tank pool session go out to a local pub or restaurant to socialize afterwards.  Ask where if interested while you're packing & loading up your gear at the end of the session.

Local Scuba Instructors can also take advantage of the deep tank at the Kinsmen Sports Centre to come out with only a few dive students. BUT must contact the AUC Office in advance with proof of insurance, plus pay the drop-in fee, sign waivers, etc.
