This is a great lake cleanup event, and dive season opener - you should be there too!

​

DIVE EVENT & Safety Protocols to be followed (where applicable):  

  • ​     LIMITED numbers of participants via PRE-REGISTRATION Required for Divers and/or Family or Shore Support Volunteers

  •       MUST have COLD-WATER dive experience prior to registering

  •       WAIVERS/RISK AWARENESS FORMS must be read & voluntarily signed prior to participation (everyone, no exceptions)

  •       MUST BE PRESENT at Dive Safety Briefing prior to participating in event dive(s)

  •       MUST follow standard dive safety guidelines & all directions of event organizers   

  •       COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: Minimize interaction and maintain physical distance of at least 2 meters (6 ft) if applicable

  •       COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: IF COVID signs/symptoms present or suspected - do not participate, protect yourself and others

Divers, Remember to Bring:
  • All your dive gear and tanks - 1-2 tanks,  BCD, regulators, drysuit/wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights, dive computer, hood, gloves, small tarp to change on.  Gear Rentals: Contact event host to reserve: The Dive Shop for gear/tank rentals or your favourite AB Local Dive Shop (LDS).

  • Other dive gear that you will find useful to bring: dive light, cutting device, writing slate, compass and small tarp to change on.

  • Your certification card and logbook 

  • Warm clothing, even if the sun is shining, be prepared for typical Alberta weather which could include rain, snow, and everything in between

  • Most events no longer include food and water, bring your own lunch or snack, juice, water, etc.

  • Lawn chair, bug spray, sunscreen

  • Small amount of cash for registration fees, raffle draws, etc.
