We strengthen and support the dive community with fun, adventure and camaraderie.

Q & A about Woman's Dive Day, with Connie
Is it only for women?

  • Connie: NO!!!  At our event, guys play an important part. 

  • They are our Sherpas, our meal preparers, servers and dive buddies.

Is it a 'girly girl' thing?  Like: make up, nails and romance?

  • Connie: NO!!!!  It is a real dive event - we are scuba divers and surface support, who love adventure.

  • We often earn a PADI specialty certification!

DIVE EVENT & Safety Protocols to be followed (where applicable):  

  • ​     LIMITED numbers of participants via PRE-REGISTRATION Required for Divers and/or Family or Shore Support Volunteers

  •       MUST have COLD-WATER dive experience prior to registering

  •       WAIVERS/RISK AWARENESS FORMS must be read & voluntarily signed prior to participation (everyone, no exceptions)

  •       MUST BE PRESENT at Dive Safety Briefing prior to participating in event dive(s)

  •       MUST follow standard dive safety guidelines & all directions of event organizers   

  •       COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: Minimize interaction and maintain physical distance of at least 2 meters (6 ft) if applicable

  •       COVID/PUBLIC HEALTH: IF COVID signs/symptoms present or suspected - do not participate, protect yourself and others

Divers, Remember to Bring:
  • All your dive gear and tanks - at least 2 tanks, BCD, regulators, dry-suit/wetsuit, mask, snorkel, fins, boots, weights, dive computer, hood, gloves, PLUS a small tarp to change on

  • Other dive gear that you will find useful to bring: knife, dive light, writing slate, compass, cutting device

  • Your certification card and logbook 

  • Warm clothing, even if the sun is shining, be prepared for typical Alberta weather which could include rain, snow, and everything in between

  • ALLERGIES?? Please bring your own lunch or snacks, juice/water, plus any special dietary requirements, etc.

  • Lawn chair, bug spray, sunscreen

  • Small amount of cash for registration fees, raffle draws, airfills (if available)
